Established in 1972, Thompson Brothers Insurance was founded by brothers, Barry and Peter Thompson in Stockport, Cheshire.

Our team of specialist insurers can provide tailored insurance policies for your commercial business and personal assets such as your home and car, that meet your unique needs and requirements.

Today, we are still a family run business, able to provide a simple tailored approach to insurance solutions to businesses in Stockport, Manchester and throughout the UK.

Our Charity Work

At Thompson Brothers, we aim to help support and generate funds for worthy charitable causes in Manchester and throughout the UK. One of our most impactful charity campaigns is 'Barry's Project 150', initiated by Barry Thompson. From 2013-2014, Barry's Project 150 successfully raised over £220,000 for The Christie's teenage cancer unit. Barry has happily retired now but Thompson Brothers continue the work he started and it is a core part of the business.
